well we just got back, the car did go down the track but we did have a few problems only made 2 passes. 1st pass had a hesitation but would not shif out of first so I aborted and just crusied through at 4k rpm. it felt strong after it picked back up after the hesitation but that didn't last long. checked the wiring to the Eshift and didn't see anything wrong. so I put it in manual mode so I could shift it manually. changed the squirters to see if I could get the hesitation out. 2nd pass it still had a hesitaton but pulled good in 2nd gear. shifted into 3rd and nothing so I just coasted through and loaded it up. car drove good with no wondering and went straight. I guess that was good so I'll search and see what the problem is. Woody seems to think it's in the valve body. had fun seen goldmember and a few old friends. all is good Ill figure it out later...

because it's a bracket racer. supposed to be one less thing to worry about I'll get it straight. a lot of the class racers are using them and loving it. the car really felt good and pulled hard once it got past the hesitation.

could be, I didn't set it up. this car (body and chassis)was built over 25 years ago. the rear set all that time with no grease in it. the ring and pinion looked fine but there was rust on the bearings.
