what about fuel pump? you can turn the key on and you cannot hear the pump run!

were the camshaft sensor located at front are back of the motor are there not one?

Engine Start-Up Mode – This is an open loop mode. The following actions occur when the starter
motor is engaged:
1. The auto shutdown and fuel pump relays are energized. If the PCM does not receive the
camshaft and crankshaft signals within approximately one second, these relays are
de-energized. BTW are you getting spark?

I not sure.... I figure if you shot starting fluid in the air cleaner and it don't even cough then there no fire (btw I'm old school )I really don't have any special tool for the electronic style cars...

well my son took the timing cover off today then he call me to tell me the timing belt look like it has melted. I ask him could you turn the cam gear he said yes. I'm wondering if that motor has a belt tensioner? where is the water pump on that motor under the timing cover?

Yes it has a automatice tensioner for the timing belt and yes the water pump runs off the timing belt
