It's been going on ever since Force had 2 cars, and he even admitted it the year that Tony won the championship. Every Force team car comes with a diving suit.

I love Mike Dunn's view. He said that reviewing the computers would be useless because John just plain drove the car out of the groove after being waaaaaayyyyyyy late.

I don't blame Force for diving, but he should at least have the stones to shut his pie hole. He should get some major fines for shoving the officials too.

At least when KJ was laying down for Warren they were up front about it.

I understand the motive for it...there is a lot of money involved. But, the fans pay, at an NHRA event now, big bucks for a ticket. And, watching someone throw a race is not what they pay to see. Force obviously threw this one.

I don't know how NHRA can do anything about it.....how could you possibly prove it beyond doubt?

theres nothing obvious, the last 2 fuelers got out of the grove and smoked the tires before him. the tune up was the same as before they checked. so it's speculation.

Yeah, speculation like we had in pro stock back in the mid 90's?

Stevie Wonder could see he took a dive.

I would expect nothing less from you. again like back then you have nothing but speculation

Yeah, OK Tony.

That's a sad state of drag racing if it's moved away from racing to entertainment. Maybe they should present John with a really HUGE BELT with fake diamonds glued to a plate sized buckle?

Remember when KJ was holding that sign that said "at least I still have a job"?

That is one of the reasons that I don't even attend NHRA National events anymore. I was at every Indy from 1967 through 1992, and you could see this coming.

It isn't the sport I grew to love in the sixties.

If anyone of you could put yourself in JF's shoes and not do the same thing your a downright f*&Kin lier. With the way everything is in the world today i know i would do everything in my power to make sure all my team is taken care of to be able to move forward. Tony had the chance aswell and screwed his brother outta gettin in the chase. TOO BAD

It is ridiculous as to what is happening. John Force is bending and manipulating the rules because the NHRA is a joke.

100% of this crap is due to the lack of management of NHRA

Cruz should have never been in the position of having one round make or break your season.

The difference is that normal, everyday working folk sold their souls to race back then. Now it's just a matter of who the oil company, beer company, car manufacturer or oil sheik picks to run their junk.

I was in a meeting when Eddie Hills name was brought up as a possible shoe for the Mopar topfuel team. He was denied that chance because they didn't like his beard and thought Tommy Johnson Jr looked more "GQ" and presentable. It's not about racing people, it's about marketing and big money. Grass roots drag racing like Steve remembers has been dead for a long time in the NHRA.

I was going to attend the US Nats, but decided to watch the heads-up race at Milan. I miss not seeing the Hemi car shootout, but the racing at Milan was great and cost a LOT less money.

Who cares? I fully expect a driver to throw a race to get a team mate in the NASCRAP inspired "Chase", especially if it doesn't keep him out.

It happens in all types of racing with multi car teams, ever watch F1?

They need to scrap the whole stupid "chase" (or what ever they call it) that goes for NASCRAP too
