Thank you for the complement. That is a pic I took when I got it in Jan. this year. It looks better in the pic then in person.

nice truck!!! Welcome to the site, and hope you like what you see. I too am a member of the Li'l Red Express group on Yahoo as well. The Demon TQ site is interesting, and looks like something that I will look into. Don't get me wrong, but I like TQ's, and it is all about setting them up.....lol.....so long as someone before you didn't ruin it....lol. Anyhow, welcome!!!

garye....
that sounds like it may be a thermoquad that was one of the 9000 Series replacement carbs, or it may be something off of a Furd. Let me know what you find out.

A few years back my brother tore up a 1978 w150 club cab 440 truck, after which I scraped for the drive train. The 440 was the original but I don't think the carb was. I still have it, can you tell me what the #s say it is from? they are - 9036S over 227 5. I think that the top is the one needed, what is the bottom #?

9036 carb is something that would have went on a 440 engine on 75 and 76 model trucks and vans. it is the emissions style carb according to my 74-77 mopar truck parts book. hope that helps

Joe.....
Need the numbers off of the base plate, they are located on the rear portion of the carb opposite the side with the choke pull off.

Thank you, was just wondering. Not for any real reason. It ran good so I kept it around, I don't know what is on my truck now, or where it came from. The one on it runs good also.

Dynotuned you seem to know your trucks well .. This is what i just got last week > I have a 77 A 150 dodge truck fleet side, short bed , black and white stripes on the tail gate in between the chrome trim. It looks to be B5 blue factory paint . Factory 440 auto.. sold new in Sacramento Ca .. I have all the paper work and it is all matching number truck.. It was sold with a trailer tow package, tack. tilt tuff wheel and wood grain trim and bucket seats with a fold down buddie seat inside..The truck even has a moon roof.. and the moon roof shows on the window sticker .. It's a strange truck..It has duel gas tanks. I was told by the first owner that the truck came with side pipes like the little red but they ran down in rocker panel and not up the bed like a little red ..The first owner was told by the dealer it was a calif truck package and not sold in this form in any other state . its a totaly rust free truck with only a few tiny dents.. If you have any info , or any web sites that might help me please drop me an email .. Thanks Lee Pritchard .. Sorry i forgot to add that it has little red express chrome slots wheels

Has any one ever seen or owned a factory big block 2 wheel drive Ramcarger or trail duster? Is this some thing that was built? I have owned a big block Trail Duster but it was a 4x4. I think I would like to get a 70s 2 wheel drive Ramcahrger but I don't want to give up my 440. I know i could put one together, but I don't think I want to go through with the trouble. It was just a cool thought I had. What do you guys think about this?

the only big block available for 2wd's was the 400. 440 was only offered on 4x4 RC's. ya never know tho, maybe one specially ordered or canadian version is sittin out there waiting to be found.

So they did make a 2wd ramcharger big block but it was only the 400. Cool, I think I want one. I think it is going to be hard to find a 2wd from that time span at all. thank you
