Anyone know the weight difference between stock cast and the aluminum ones? I tore down one of my motors with stock set up for a rebuild this past weekend and weighed the complete assembly and was surprised with 16.8 and 17.2 pounds on the complete set up. Thats 34 pounds in rocker gear not including the push rods.
Has anyone used the Mega Parts stands or is there a better choice? Thanks,

i have no info on those stands. The Blue MP stands are pretty nice. They give good geometry when used with the DLI rockers. This seems to be a problem I hear with the cheaper China stands, that and oil holes in correctly machined etc.
Here is a shot Of my push rod scrub at .375-.400 lift..Its right in the middle. Which from open to close its stays very well centered. Its not real crisp, cause I used a sharpie for Dychem, but you get the idea..
