GOT YA , MY 440 TRUCK HAS A 440-8 BLOCK IN IT. 77 YEAR , DON'T QUITE UNDERSTAND IT,AND NO ONE CAN DECIPHER IT,IT IS THE ORG BLOCK ,JUST COULND'T FIGURE IT OUT,PRETTY MUCH ..WHY AND PRETTY MUCH ,WHY WAS IT DONE. I wish the idiots at mopar didn't toss out the information that we all could use as far as production numbers and stuff like that. I immagine that it is a rare van, but I don't have the faintist idea on how many were made. this might be wishful dreaming, but it would be nice to have someone actually come up with the documentation for the 440 trucks from ma-mopar! Anonymous Unregistered A	I have a letter from Chrysler regarding 1978 D-150 440 trucks. The letter states there were 74, 1978 D-150 trucks with the 440. Remember this is for the D-150, and does not include W-150, or any 250 or 350 trucks. Remember also that the 440 was not available in the D-100 in 1978.

Anonymous Unregistered A	Boy did I screw up! In my last post I refered to 1978 Dodge models as 250's and 350's rather than 200's and 300's. I can't believe I did that.
