I`m not a cowl hater but just think some Mopars don`t look right and as I stated before about your scoop..........I don`t think you`re drawing in much air........
not for air, it's for clearance.

Dont you run a six pack? Clearance for a factory option that fits under a flat hood?

Where do you draw air from?
I guess from the cowl and from what ever runs thru the engine bay. The cowl does get some air as I can see it lift durning a pass, so much so I had add an extra pin. It's maybe 4" from the windshield.

Alot of nice looking cars here. I think they look best on the E-Bodies as mentioned above since they are similar to looks of a 1ST Gen Camaro but I just can't bring myself to put one on any of my cars. Still undecided what scoop I am going to run on my Challenger.

T/A Hood on a challenger is the coolest, If you need more clearance, Cut & Raise it, I have seen the extended version of the T/A hood. Anyone here got one?

I got the cowl hood simply because I couldnt find a forward facing scoop that I liked.. everything that would fit and provide enough clearance, looked like a beached whale sitting on the hood.. Before... After... No Hood... You tell me which one looks better!!

It's all about air and air turbulence in the carb area. I have a 6pak hood/scoop and the cowl hood/scoop. I have never gotten my 6 pak set-up to make one good, clean pass.
