The Hot Rod Reunion is actually a three day event with the Reunion race on Saturday morning. We have test and tune on Friday night, THE HOT ROD REUNION vintage race Saturday morning, and on Saturday night and Sunday we have a regular two day bracket race. So there is a race for everyone and we have many racers run all three. Springer is within 10 miles of Ardmore. The town of Gene Autry was one we went through IIRC. It may be the same. I looked it up on Mapquest. LOL Springer was the 1st drag strip I ever went to back around '74 or '75. It was also the 1st drag strip I ever raced at. Our car club used to rent it once a year for our annual "Drag Day" lotta fun back then! Back then it didnt have much of a shutdown area and I'd wind up running off the end of the paved surface a bit! silverfish super stock Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 858 Oklahoma	Its a small track for sure but a pretty well maintained facility. And Big Dad is right, it was the site of the "Cow Pasture Nationals". We've been racing a class there a little this year with our Cuda called Modified Street. I think they have a race for that class scheduled for that weekend also but not sure we are going to make that one. It will make a great addition to the reunion race though if they run it. Its a real fun class with a good group of racers.
