I have a 71 Satellite Sebring, a built 340 w/ shorty headers and 2.5" dual exhaust. I'm currently running a fairly new set of Magnaflow mufflers which were pricey, and which sound great but they're too loud for my taste. I want something quiet where I can hear myself think and not have much background noise if I'm on a bluetooth phone call.

Any suggestions?

thrush welded series sound good and are cheap. looks just like a flowmaster and sounds good too. the bonus is their only about 40$. seems to me thats about a third of what a flowmaster costs. they make them in stainless also for around 80$

I have the accurate "hiflow" hemi mufflers on mine.. I think they sound great.. I do not like loud exhaust, but these have a very mellow tone.. Nuthin but compliments from everyone....

I got a set of hemi style mufflers from Dales cuda shop. They look orignal but sound super. Nice and throaty but not to loud. Sound killer when you mash the pedal.

Well, I just bought a pair of Dynomax 17748's. I considered the Quiet-Flows but I was a little concerned about losing too much performance.

We'll see how much quieter it is afterwards!

Thanks for all the advice.

Jim
