Easy to check ignition curve (think total timing is around 38 degrees and that it reaches that at 2500 rpm) but a little more work to check cam timing. If I rember correctly it is set at zero. Well, maybe I wasn't clear enough. I can rev it beyond 6k but you get the feeling that it isn't very happy after 5k. Like it gets out of breath. The switch to Edelbrocks from my 452's dropped me from 12.5x's @ 105 to 12.0's @ 110, no other changes. More converter got me another 0.15 and 2 mph, intake swap got me another 1.5mph but nothing as far as ET...
