Some of you guys should try to remember that it's about more than just the car to the city of Tulsa. There is some pretty cool stuff in that time capsule and it all survived. Alotta this is city and state history, not just the car.
Really? Then maybe they should be handling it in a better manner?
My post was a general statement and not directed at anyone in particular. Good grief, settle down.

They mentioned that maybe the historical society should keep the car. I bet they ditched the microfilm so they wouldn't have to give it away.
<insert your conspiracy theory here>
They have all the postcards that have the info from the people that guessed the population.

I say they hang the two hosting the show and the neilsen ratings will SOAR. That car will go on Ebay IF they find the winner. It was supposed to go to the next of kin if the winner couldn't claim. Toss the stinky lady's ideas RIGHT out the window. I would rather see the car go to Eddie, and do the elusive 7.99

No, looks like they have the original postcards with the entrants' guesses. My theory on Coddington as a choice of, well, whatever... Someone said "get that car guy who ISN'T a fraud and who DIDN'T bone a bunch of investors when he filed for bankruptcy!" And obviously whoever was being told misunderstood what was said.

Dang, I've never seen a bigger bunch of know it alls than what I'm seeing on this thread right now. What you are looking at is Americana at its finest. Yet, you complain about the mannerisms of the people doing the show. Thankfully, Oklahomans aren't anything like you sophisticated types in the north.
Your life is not my fault. My life is none of your business.

I believe the reason they chose these two people is because they are local personalties who were present when the car was buried. I think that's it anyways.
