Pressure-washed the road grime


By the time everything dried I realized I was out of semi-gloss, and it would be getting dark by the time I returned with more, so I will do that after work tomorrow.

Looking good...now you just gotta pressure wash the driveway. . Can't wait till I can get into mine like that. But I'll probably just clean paint, etc while still in the car. Dont think I'm ready to tackle taking it all out.

Looks more like surface rust + leftover insulation glue to me. My dart looked like that and it cleaned up fine.

Thanks, but I know. Surface rust and leftover foam gack. I was inside there welding, remember, so I got a good look at it.

I will be handling that when I pull the windshield and dash. I have a black dash without the holes for the fake woodgrain and a good pad that I will be swapping in. I will be installing an 18 watt Marshall tube amp IN the dashboard. I will handle the cowl then.

When I ditch the rear seat I will be installing a carpeted shelf for my dog that will unlatch and double as a Stratocaster or Explorer case.

You've gone this far, might as well take it down to a bare shell....

I've actually thought that a few times. Of course, then it would be too nice to drive and I am chomping at the bit to drive her again!
