Its silly to have two sets of locks for one car. It's even sillier to have no keys for either set new and old. It's even more silly to install the old set and then find the new set and then find out you don't have keys for either. Oh this silliness was found out after the doors are all put together.

Yes the key to this story is silly cars and silly parts equals silly stories!

1970 Valiant, but since it is being shipped south first, 1970 Dart #2 had to donate a push rod. It ran good, but not great, especially when off the gas going down hill. The cold idle lever was stuck up. Figured that out, reset the idle then a miss could be heard (my brother caught it, my ears are OK, but poor in that range) So, we pulled wires & figured out it was #3. It turned out that the intake valve was stuck. Still under 35,000 miles, this car sat somewhere unused for a long time. So far, after the un-stick & donor part it seems happy. The push rod was bent so bad that it would not come up through the hole in the head. I had to cut it off & then fish the bottom section out with a magnet.

So a sticky valve got you stuck with sticking a used unstuck part in a previously stuck parts place?
