Well it is from there after all..
After the photoshoot down at the beach we had come back here and the carpet did come up in conversation.
By the way..how is the head?
Still hard headed!
The Bombay Gin is making the pain go away though!

Wouldn't of helped as I was under a car and didn't need the shade.

Leaving the San Diego airport earlier today I noticed an Alaskan Airlines plane. No biggie generally, there are a few of them there, but this one was a prop plane - how long does that flight take??
You were "here" today even too?
And I guess when the PLF wants to head north to Barryland, they like to go olde fashioned, but still faster than..

It will open again when it has been cleaned.
I have seen things there that I have never seen anywhere else.

Horror is real, it happens near at least 1 hotel in NJ.

Beyond the dirt, the grime & the other dubious things I saw in Newark, NJ......
Within a very short walking distance of my hotel was a store. Among other things, they sold beer.
Warm beer.
Warm beer of all kinds.
They did not have a beverage cooler & no AC in the store either.
It was 98 degrees outside (and inside) at the time.
No big deal I think, I'll buy some ice too.
They did not sell ice.
OK, no big deal, the hotel has an ice machine.
I assumed too much.
The hotel did not have an ice machine.
It was 98 degrees inside my hotel room too.
OK I thought, I'll order pizza & three iced teas, dump the tea & use the ice to chill the warm 98 degree beer I bought.
Luckily, the hotel did supply a laminated -for-easy-clean-up menu for a local pizza place.
"Sure, no problem! One small pizza with 3 extra large iced-teas, we should be there in 35-40 minutes."
Cool! I need cool, so I wait, very patiently.
At last a knock at the door, a pizza & a LARGE box, yes a BOX with drinks inside.
I open the pizza box & take a bite of the still hot, well above 98 degree pizza, grab a slice & dive in.
Very good pizza for a chain.
I then take the BOX of drinks into the bathroom, the 98 degree six pack of beer was already waiting in the sink for its date-night with the very needed, chilling ice.
They needed each other desperately.
It was not to be.
Sadly, the box of large ice teas contained one liter BOTTLES of iced tea.
98 degree, bottled iced tea.
No ice.
Zip.
Nada.
Nothing.
Newark NJ is an evil, 98 degree nasty place with warm beer.
THEY GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO KEEP BEER WARM EVEN
AFTER THEY SELL IT TO YOU!
