I loaded another container today....nearly too worn out to eat a tastykake, but since Smite is in full effect, I can't try even if I wanted too.

I will be tomorrow though, so that will help ease the Smite a little bit at least.

So Jeff tried the new watermelon Oreos yet?
I ask because I am eating fresh cold watermelon locally grown. RIGHT NOW.

Odd thing today - customer brought a 70's Mustang II Cobra to my friend's garage. He had dropped a 306-ish crate motor into built by Ford Performance. Car had MSD added to it. Problem was a rough idle (we thought wrong flywheel installed) and would break up under some rpm load. We checked this and that, checking different ideas. At some point in the revving, the alternator belt broke and flew off the car. Immediately the idle sounded great and the motor stopped shaking. It revved perfect now, running on just the battery. He took it for a test drive down the block (wasn't drivable before) and the car launched hard, sounded 100% better too.

Pesky alternator.

That alternator must have been a disaster inside. For it to cause that. I have seen them lock up and break belts, have bad bearings and scream like a banshee. But, never seen that.
