State of Confusion
Browsing through this post (as I do every so often) has really opened my eyes to the gratuitous violence portrayed on red headed smiley's.

I am a proud member of the PLF, and all this senseless violence has me taking a deeper look into myself. Into my soul, and into me heart.

I wonder if this violence is really necessary, what good can possibly come from this.

I also had a chance to reflect on the words of wisdom given to me by a good friend one day. He had recently kicked the leg of a desk another kid was leaning back in, causing the poor fellow to fall, and flail around on the floor in surprise and fear.

I then asked my friend if that was really necessary. To which he replied with these words I carry with me to this day.

"Violence is only to be used on two occasions, 1) When it is necessary, and 2) When it is fun."

I have my eyes brought to that attention on a very often basis.

Guy bought a perfumed pig 68 Camaro convertible from the old lady because it's original. So he starts adding options, date coded four barrel intake, two carbs, after he found a better date coded carb had them both rebuilt. Now he wants the double hump heads to match the intake but doesn't want the increased compression. But wait it gets better he wants the dual exhaust. So much for originality but when we suggested ralley wheels, no we can't do that it wouldn't be original.

Ha! My buddy from Maine had a Brat we went everywhere in that thing. He actually broke the transmission doing a 4wd burn out. So to get by he would be in fwd low second gear to start off because first gear was toast.

Sillier yet he drove the Brat home 2000 miles with 176,000 miles without a hiccup, them his dad rebuilt the motor and a piston keeper came out and it was dead 15,000 miles later.

I had a friend when we first started driving...he had a Subaru wagon...he tried to follow me up into a off road area (I had my lifted Dodge) and we had a creek to cross...that little wagon actually did ok, I was amazed.

Haven't really felt like just finishing off couple little things.
Might get back to it in the next week or so, have a little time before it's container time again next month.

Gee you must be in tough shape I only have five projects that need between a little and a lot. But you are probably just looking for fifteen inch rotors to come out.

Tastykake motivation makes the difference.

Either that, or you go to the LtDan school of auto completion....just keep buying more until you don't notice what you have to do on all the others.
