Is that binary, octal, hexadecimal, or Celsius?

Sounds suspiciously low.

So I needed more room in my glove box today and threw out the owners manual. It's not like anyone still reads books.

The next time you push it a few extra miles after the gauge dips below E, put 14.1 gallons of gas in, scratch your head thinking "I thought the tank capacity was 13.7 in this car", go to confirm or deny this memory and end up empty-handed after digging through all the worthless crap in your glove box only to find no owners manual...

...don't come to me!

I would, but I left mine in the glove box of my Citroen with the owners manual when I sold it.

Sorry.

I guess John's owners manual might get blueBarry stains [Re: Alaskan_TA] #412303

evetS we have oil wells everywhere here in Oklahoma we never run out of gas.

Actually my daily drive is 14 miles round trip. I pass six gas stations along the way. My truck holds 26 gallons I never go below a quarter tank as its an excuse to stop for a big gulp!

How do you know this?

Is that the most you have ever put in,
your memory of what your long-lost manual said,
or simplistic extrapolation after putting in 13 gallons when the gauge showed 1/2??

Huh? Answer me that!

Without published proof from the manufacturer, this talk of "26 gallon capacity" is pure speculation.

It was on the window sticker. and the Internet!

You have a pessimistic view of my trucks gas tank. the tank should be full at 26 gallons!

Can you test it?

Run it until the tank is empty & then fill it with 26 gallons of blueberries.

Or Strohs?

Please?

You could fly out to OKC and fill the tank and see for yourself!

The truck was made in Canada that really screws things up!

So does an owners manual tell you how to covert how much Canadian "bacon" = USA Bacon, that then can fill a USA gallon?

500lbs of Canadian Bacon = 1 pound of real bacon
