Went to the LA Roadsters (street rod) swap meet today....not too bad main show is tomorrow and Sunday (thousands of street rods, etc) so will see what else turns up.

But tastykake-less of course out at the swap meet.

The Smithsonian had a great event going on, Be A Pilot day - the place was jam packed with kids which was great to see.

An Amelie Earhart story telly, book signings, rocketry clubs, Audubon societies, plastic modellers, lego builders, rc plane clubs, robot groups, historical societies - was great to see families out somewhere important.


They had all sorts of special displays including planes outside with cockpits open and Marine 1 - the presidential helicopter.
