So a ZLF rating of 3 bloody thumb-stumps up?

When it makes it to DVD (didn't think it was out yet at least?), have to check it out.

There were lots of zombies watching the movie. It was shown in the Yokwe Yuk theater which is free and open air. A Kwajalein experience to say the least. The Yuk theater is a BYOB establishment. The margaritas flowed freely which explains my zombie memory loss.

Zombieland hasn't been released here yet. Feb 2nd from what I could find.

I just watched Angels and Demons - quite entertaining.

The Armed Forces Network must have some sort of agreement with the entertainment establishment to pre-release movies out here. We got to see 'Angles and Demons' several months ago and I agree that it was entertaining. In fact the movie was better than the book which is quite rare in my experience.

I saw A & D a little while ago too actually...on the flight home from Oz on Halloween actually? It seemed good on the tiny 7" screen on the plane so I got the DVD when it came out which I think was soon after. The 'making of' stuff was cool actually as well..the sets they built for the movie were amazing!
The "Vatican" set used was actually set up here in the parking lot of the old Laker's place

PS. Sounds like prime Zombie movie viewing there, in the outdoors and all..

By the way, the local newspaper has announcements for upcoming movies. In that paper, they listed that movie as "Angles and Demons" instead of the proper spelling. Since then, that's the way that I spell it so I intentionally misspelled it.

For real, here is a link to .pdf versions of our local paper:

For back issues, click the 'archives' button. The version that is printed is in black and white so this is a more colorful version.

Whew...soon as it came up (after clicking on the link) I was worried about scrolling down for seeing a Giant mutant crab, luckily it's just a Turtle (non mutant variety it appears)

The November 21st issue has an interesting article about Amelia Earhart and her possible link to Kwajalein.
