I'll tell you what, if I ever shoot myself with my nail gun, Barry will hear me scream all the way in Alaska.
Not only will I know that I did it, but the rest of the board will hear the scream

No ice-cream until I pull the nail out
As for being lucky...a nail in the brain would probably hurt less than a nail to the.....ummmmmm....nether regions.
By the way, I am always carefull where I point the nailgun. I did shoot one in once to have it split through the side of the 4x4 and ricochet off the side of the container
Kind of like a gun fight inside of a armored car

That wood mean you were being Smited via timber.
Either that a super-strong and unseen termite saw it coming ,and punched it back at you.

But THIS must have hurt six times as much. Not sure how it compares to the "nether" injury though

“According to the reports, police have launched an investigation. However, they believe it was a bizarre accident. "His colleagues said Isidro was using a nailgun that has both manual and fully automatic settings," said deputy sheriff Dan McPherson. "It appears he slipped and fired into his skull." Six times into the back of his head and they say he slipped…. Yeah Right!!! LOL

An automatic nail gun does sound kind of cool though

None actually... the patients have usually yanked them out themselves before coming to the clinic in the ER it might be different though. But I did remove a big wood splinter from someone's leg not too long ago (about 1/4" in diameter and at least an inch and a half buried in the thigh). Ow.
Now I am trying to figure out how this subject (or the zombies, Python, etc.) reminded someone of Loni Anderson?

Do you need a reason to have a WKRP moment ?
As for the splinter.... Did you tell the person they must be a Witch, since they are made of wood ?
