steve taylor at PRC here in houston has some new and trick metering blocks coming out. i think the current trend in pro stock is to use them. not sure if all the teams are but alot do have them from what i understand.

Bob I love my BIGS 1050 Dominator but when I ran the tunnel ram on the DartSport the Quickfuel custom tunnel ram carbs were awesome right out of the box. Even the jetting was almost dead on.

Book Racing Enterprises PRC (Steve Taylor) Braswell Davinci
For the $$$ I would go with Steve Taylor's stuff personally. The OOTB stuff is pretty good these days too AL....

I am not sure what you are looking for here by asking this question? Are you looking for a recommendation? If cost is a consideration then sacrifice appearence for function. My would be to get the engineering sizes right first. Curtis Boggs comes to mind right away but, there are many others. Hate to see you go thru the expense of 2 carbs and a custom intake to find the 4bbl. works better. But, I'm gonna guess you've already done some homework. Would you mind sharing it?
