CR8CRSHR,
are you saying that in 66 if the car was built with disc brakes it came with a dual reservoir master cylinder?

Disc brake equipped Mopar cars in '66 came with a single reservoir (with extension) as pictured earlier in this thread.

My '66 Dodge service manual also shows the single reservoir disc master.

OOOOOPPPPSSSSSS!!!!! Sorry but I read the wrong paragraph. Dr Diff...You are correct. Did not mean to confuse....

I also stand by my earlier reply that in this day and age with all the new Brake Technology available, why would any one want to risk loosing a single pot M/C when they had Disc Brakes on the front or both. With 2 at least you have a chance of slowing and stopping the vehicle should one reservoir fail....

There's more than one in this thread, count 'em.

I've used lots of single pot MC's in recent years knowing full well the perceived danger. In that same time frame I've had two dual MC's fail without incident but if I'd been closer.....

The larger reservoir isn't really necessary with discs, it's only there to make the need for topping off less frequent as the pads wear.
