your a couple hundred lbs lighter than RonP with the same car

Yeah, it must be a year thing or something . I have another friend with a 70 who is lighter. I am always amazed at the wide span of weights. I have weighed mine on 2 different scales and one was 3196 and the other was 3207 so I just call it 3200.

mine could be lighter due to... Cromoly bar, 4 wheel wilwoods, narrow rear, aluminum driveline, aluminum heads, aluminum radiator, aluminum water pump and intake of course, no heater or radio (factory delete plates) all extra wiring removed, race seats in front, stock seat in rear, no carpet insulation, 6 cyl leafs and torsions, alumastar 2.0 front wheels and M/t front tires, deck lid bracing removed, fenderwell splash gaurds removed....just to name a few things....

Ours weighs 2,600 lbs. with my son in it and he weighs about 200 pounds.

We have a wedge with iron heads, a 9 inch Ford, ladder bars, and a glide. It has the 2X3 frame rails and a funny car cage.

All fiberglass except roof and back quarters.

#3160 full race weight including me. Aluminum headed B motor (filled) with tunnel ram and dual dominators, 727 trans, 16pt MS cage, back-half car, DARE K-Frame (yah - I know), Areospace brakes, Dana 60, all steel except bumers hood and deck lid (though hood is hinged and heavy), all factory glass. Interior is gutted with an aluminum dash and single seat - but door panels, headliner, and hardware are all there.

It's a pig - I wish it were a CM round tube car - then 8s would be SO easy.
