Photobucket sucks

Cab_Burge I Win C Joined: Aug 2003 Posts: 43,321 Bend,OR USA	I have ran a filter for over twenty years now on every car I have raced I have also tested many shapes and sizes of air filters on the engine dynos, the K&N Extreme lids lose power on the dyno but the cars go faster with them on at the track I wouldn't run a car without a air filter now Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)

jamesc master J Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 5,875 communist bloc of new jersey	the air filter may slow it down but not near as much as running a piece of debris through the engine. i would go to great lengths to run an air filter. personally i don't think you need a oiled gauze type just a basic paper element as big as you can get on it. the one i use is off a GM truck or something but i do have more room in the scoop than most
