8.463, 156.4, 150' above sea level on Bucky's computer, with the bracket motor in the car (no kidding). Someone was busy doing their homework this winter. We kissed it, right on the trunk lid before we put it in the trailer.

If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.

Aww, come on down and take the money. Don't worry about last year. That was crazy. Did you get your car fixed?

Travis,

Your Dad indicated at the Dutch that he may consider coming. I hope you all make the trip. All of us here would be disappointed if you don't come. Please reconsider. We need your support.

BTW Congradulations of the great performance this weekend.

Jerry

Jerry ~ Was Li'l Joe having problems in Houston?

Travis ~ Nice runs this weekend! Is your car back together? We're not going to Belle Rose either. In fact, we're not even going to Indy this year. Too many unhealthy people on our team or their families right now...that's gotta be our first priority.

Julie,

Lil Joe had one of his old motors in the car. I am sorry to hear that you will not make Belle Rose. I can understand about the health issues as I just got my Dad out of the hospital after 12 days in there. Hope everyone gets better. Give your Dad our best.

This thread is alot like the one I started on one of the other mopar pages...only it was called "Hemis in the NHRA".
anyway small question, what are the Prostock cars running now, and how long until the SS cars catch up?

Great pics of the cars at Vegas on moparmax. Also another good writeup by Ogburn on Marie's board.

cgall~
That was an excellent write up by Ogburn on Marie's. With some good responses. That board is somewhat of a disappointment to me. I cannot believe they let that EVEL ME DO, I think that is his name, swear and carry on like he does, that is terrible. He certainly needs his mouth washed out!
It sounds like there was some good racing in Vegas, they need more of those shootouts, that is real racing, just how it should be. I have enjoyed all the pics!

Are tranny brakes allowed in SS/AH on auto cars?

They're legal and most of the cars have them. I'd say there's a pretty good sized contingent that doesn't use the trans-brake. I know a lot of guys that are footbraking (Bucky for example; at least the last time I saw him) or two-step off the brake pedal (Houser, sometimes us).

I personally think the cars are a little too violent off the trans-brake, but there's a lot of guys that make it work (see: Charlie Westcott) , so I can't knock it.
