Jeff, I am not able to go back to Gainesville tomorrow, and I did not get any photos of the cage in Charlie's car.

No problem. I know Charlies cars are one of the best built cars out there. Like seeing quality work.

Charlie, you did a nice job on that intake. It looks awesome with the cnc's runners. Isn't it difficult for someone to mimic an intake from just looking at it anyway. Most likely they won't beable to get it to match its performance. I know Pancake is very touchy about people taking pictures of his car.

Just my on the pic subject I know they dont mind shots of the car in whole but when you get pics of up close peices (Intakes, Chassis, roll bars ect.) then you get into area they have spent a LOT of time, money & research perfecting if you want to go fast with there Tech. then pay them to do it.

Im suprised some of these guys don't just build a box around the intake like the pro stockers do.

Jeff, in looking at the MPH ratios, CWs run has the 1/8 MPH to be right at 80% (0.8 times) of the 1/4 MPH. Don't you think the ratio is a more consistent indicator than the speed differential? The percentage rule can be applied to almost any class, whereas the MPH Delta will change from slow cars to fast ones and over time for SS/AH.

Maybe I took that dimensional analysis stuff too seriously in engineering school? 80% is what I got for a theoretical ratio for 1/8 MPH / 1/4 MPH. .64 is what I calculated for 1/8 ET / 1/4 ET.

Charlie:

I don't know if it is raining at Gainesville today (Friday) but I was not able to get back there. Send me an email with your cell # and I will call you. If you are going to see JerryH next week, tell him to send me the Hagen photos.

Thanks
Stewart

Charlie, Congrats on a couple of great runs at G'ville! Thanks for posting your results - it's cool to get some inside perspective. Hope to see you in person at the Indy divisional next month.

Stewart, thanks for posting your photos. Fantastic!

Rain delay is nearly over at Gainesville. Announcer just said "7 minutes". Pros are up first.

Looks like Warfish is the class winner based on his qualifying run, class elims were rained out.

we wont be at the indy div. I think that is the same weekend as belle rose, and even if it wasnt I wouldnt go. I would rather go to stanton and test. We left g-ville around noon, we are going to mooresville to run the stick car. Missy is overnighting some parts we need to Wayne Jesels house for us.
We plan to stay as long as we need to. We made a handful of changes for this morning, and were looking forward to running the car, but that got cancelled.
If anyone wants to come to mooresville, we would be glad to supply you with a war fish t shirt to help our race fund.
I didnt get a chance to take any pics this weekend, we were kinda busy, I did take some at jerico though.

And Stella, what kind of car did your husband race, I'll bet you really miss that. You seem like you really love racing.

Mr. Warfish~
I would really enjoy stopping in to get a tee-shirt, plan on it! I will come by the track in Mooresville on either saturday or early sunday, around noon or alittle after. That is awfully nice of you to invite people like myself to the track when you are trying to make runs for testing. As for my late husband, he had a Barracuda, he was approximately 12 years older than me, so he was well into it when I came on the scene. I really like the racing deal, I miss our time together at the track. Funny thing is I still have that car, it is in storage at my mother's place, all in one piece, a real beauty. I have actually considered selling it but there is some sentimental value to it, you understand. Maybe you could tell me what it is worth.
Looking forward to meeting you and the rest of your team.
~Stella

CW,
Just the annoying mystery wheelie picture guy here ... I been wonderin; is your desert sand paint schemed car, the red car you posted not too long ago? Prior to Stew's picts, I'd only seen the green fish.

Miss Stella you may have been a late bloomer, but I must say you are really catching on fast. Your just sharp as a tack and friendly too. And you already made a new friend, awesome. This internet is just great is'nt it.
