For a while I thought that jr just didn't care what people thought....I was wrong, He wants to be thought of as an a$$. That is what motivates him...its called hating yourself. You cant like other people if you don't like yourself.
Its funny he despises this thread...the people on it...the whole content. But he monitors it very closely.
See if he wanted to show how great he truly is he would start your own thread...that way he and the 3 people that bought his tee shirts could stroke all day long with no interruptions.
But what will happen is he will continue to try to ruin this one.
You know I should call your dad and have your keys taken away for a while....yea I think I will

yes I do monitor this, cause I am bored. we dont run till thursday, and not much going on here. Like I said this can be the we hate charlie thread, It should be the we suck and are jealous thread. You have no idea how many t shirts I sold at the shootouts, I dont have to give them away, people buy them, and ask me to sign them, must be cause I suck so bad. Must be why I am the JESEL test vehicle because Dan Jesel thinks I am so stupid. Or why jerico is testing transmisions in our new car. You guys have no idea what goes on in the real racing world. we are going to go outside and do something now, If you want to call jeff has my number, I dare you to call, or better yet come to a race and see how its done. My dad said call him 517 206 0189.

I love my Warfish T-shirt. Looking forward to how they do this weekend. Will it be the Warfish,or did that sell it. Or will it be the FishStick, sorry I still can't get that name out of my head.

CW Do you think the air in Fla and your new combo can lower the new 8.48 record?

Cant we all be friends? What ever happened to warm and fuzzy?Everyone knows what happened between Jeff and CW,which by now is old news.Yesterday is gone. Both Jeff and CW are well respected here for what they each do,but the remarks border on tasteless dribble on a childs chin.Go to a neutral corner and wipe off your drool, put a smile on both your faces so the rest of us keep our respect for you guys and watch for your future sucesses.Good Luck to both of you.

I concur. Of course, I am always warm and fuzzy.

The 8.48 is what he actually ran... it was a redlight pass. I heard the air density was very good that day... all I know is that it was a very chilly day(on the south Louisiana scale).

If i recall there was some technicality that he did not get the actual NHRA record, even though the car was fast enough. Definatly great to see hensen doing well. Met him at indy, nice guy.

I don't think you can back up a record run with a previous run.
Henson also ran a 9.89 in his Challenger A/SA at the same race.

I believe Henson went a 9.51 for the record and the 8.48 was the backup.jake

Just went on Maries Page and saw that Fred has the record at 9.54 that was backed up on sat, and that he went the 8.48 during eliminations on sunday. Jake

Fred ran quick enough in his last qualifying session (8.51 or 8.52, I can't remember) to lower the current national record held by Jim Pancake. However, NHRA requires that a record run be backed up "after" the record attempt, previous runs do not count as a backup. As that was the last qualifying pass of the event there was no record obtained that day. Fred's 8.48 was run in the first round of eliminations and no records can be set during eliminations. So, the existing record is still 8.55.

Irregardless, it was a great weekend of racing for Fred with BOTH of his hemis!

Julie~ Isn't it CW who built that motor in Fred Henson's Car? I am almost certain it is.
