1969 Charger Hemi engine block only for sale on eBay

VIN. XS29J9B240606 or XS29J9B240608

I can't make out the last digit of the VIN on the side of the block, looks like 6 to me but hey my eyes are 56 years old and it's almost 400 am.

Anyway about another day left on the auction, hope it finds it's way home !

I have sent a message to the seller to try and get a definite answer on the VIN stamping. If I get a reply I'll update the post.


VIN is definitely XS29J9B240606 per the owner.

Possibly may have come in a Charger 500 Hemi car??? if not an R/T
I owned one in the 90's and IIRC the Data tag read XS29J9B2XXXXX, even though the VIN tag showed XX29J9B2XXXXX.

Looking for the original engine for my 70 Challenger. 0B283944 on Oil Pan rail. Was in Michigan area when removed. Previous owner said it was gone in 1989 when he bought it! Please check you engine pile!

Looking for 440 0G198796 from 70 charger r/t was b5 blue with white side stripes/white top. Was grey primer for years believed to have been taken out in in northeast around Mass. Missing the 727 aswell.

It is on the Superbird shipment list. I do not know if it still exists or not? Doug at the Superbird club may know.

Looking for 69 date stamped 340 dealer over the counter block no vin stamp.
Some people call this a warranty block difference is no riveted warranty tag on over counter. I will definately consider buying that as an alternative.
My 70 Challenger Convertable was a dealer change from 318 to 340. Change done at dealership before picking up the car. I bought it from the original owner in 86. She recked the bottom end of that 340 motor hitting a parking lot cement divider at high speed "DOH" and then put the 318 back in. I have the dealer change paper work and would love to take it back to a matching 340!
