The old thread was awesome! .....except for warfish's mouth. Being a sticky made it easy to check each day.

The old thread was the only place I'm aware of where the history and photos of the class along with all of the current information, including who was doing what in their part of the country as it happened, could be found in one place. It was required reading during the racing season. Sadly, it appears that one immature individual; who has no respect for the history, the people who have been doing this for many years before him, the fans or anyone else who is not a paying customer, has caused it to go away. I'm sure he is amused with himself. I don't know if it still exists somewhere but I would vote for the return of the old thread, miinus all of the childishness. I believe it was important and would hate to see it lost forever. There's an old saying about throwing out the baby with the bath water, I think that applies here.
"If you have to tell 'em who you are, you ain't"
If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.

Now I know how Howard Stearn feels.
....there is nothing like driving my 1968 Hemi Dart around town and having people looking at you like you're nuts!!
