Thanks for the compliments guys. That run was not on the throttle stop, it was just after returning home from Vegas where we were leaving the line on the chip at 6000rpm, I forgot to turn it down so up it went. The picture in my signature is the same RPM just in Vegas with the DA around 3500ish feet. The air that day was -600' at Infineon.
On the stop it pops up the front end about 4" and comes right down, as my stop comes on at the release of the trans brake button. To run 10.90 I am on the stop at the hit and off 4.5-5 seconds later shifting into high gear at .75 into the run.

Al, Excellent photo but glad your getting a handle on the wheelies and 10.90 racing. That is a tough class to run. Congrats and keep up the great work.

I was standing very near Al's car at Infineon when that picture was snapped. What that car did right after that snap shot was one hell of a wild ride. I have no idea how Al got that car under control without wrecking it. I figured there was no saving it, but somehow Al gathered it up and put the car back into his lane without major carnage. The video does not really do justice to how out of shape Al really was. One hell of a nice save Al.
And watching you reel in those Dragers in Super Pro at the finish line with your "10.90" car was a thing of beauty on Saturday. Although I was pulling for Dalton when you two had at it LOL!.
Charlie
Well - I think the tower crew was pulling for Dalton as well in that round. But, we caught it in time. LOL!!!!!
