Al actually has or had some NRC heads. Ya i thought he was going to put a Predator motor in his cuda! then he bought that B1/MC bullet for it.

Thanks agin Pete, you are right need to sell more 4.80 borespace heads before thinking about bigger versions! But we like to discuss bs like that. lol

How far would $6K get you on the top end package with a Predator head, or PSO setup?
Is there a Cast intake available for the PSO heads? I was thinking sheet metal was about it.
Reason I ask i have about this in my Hemi topend which is fully CnC ported.

PSO is $9,995 for the entire package (very complete) and the Predator cost about the same. The Best Machine reworks B1 single 4 intakes to match their PSO ports

I just added up my Hemi Top end and it only cost me roughly $8,750. heads and intake were ported by modern and I have Stage V rocker gear

Hemi seems to be cheaper

They are a canted valve, ala chevy bb. That is why some guys don't like them, they don't consider them a true mopar head because the valves aren't in line.

Thanks Defbob for the wrong info on the PSO heads. We have them priced at 8050.00 for Heads,CNC porting,Ti valves,T&D rockers,Manley thriple springs,Ti retainers etc assembled. The Preadtor combo with the same stuff is 10,050.00 from indy. We have used Indy intakes and have spacers for the B-1 Intake.

Yes Keith has done a great job with the nitrous tune-up. We talk about the tune-up but he gets the credit for sure. We built him a good engine to tune on and its getting it done.

I guess i don't understand the big concern over flow numbers. The heads flow enough to put a car into the 6.50 ET range, that should mean they flow enough to meet most anyones needs on here.

well fred,, here are some flow numbers off a set that i did at the same time as the heads on jacksons car,, they went to the engine builder to get the valve job,, these came back to me after and i redid a few things,,, jacksons went to best machine and they redid the valve job,, maybe went to et performance to get tuned up,, i dont know,, but i imagine they are close to these numbers since i ported both sets and only valve work may be different.

4.500 bore
intake 2.450 valve
.100 80
.200 157
.300 230
.400 290
.500 360
.600 420
.700 460
.800 485
.900 505
.950 510

exhaust 1.850
.100 60
.200 115
.300 155
.400 195
.500 230
.600 265
.700 295
.800 305
.900 320
.950 327

if they were on a larger bore like a 4.560 or 4.600 they would pick up a good amount of mid lift and some high lift,, especially on the intake

like i said, jacksons heads were originally ported by me,, no valve job,, went to builder he did valve job, gave peices to jackson to assemble, they thought it was down after dynoing it, so took it to best machine then they redid valve job and probably blended it in or did a tune up to them,, among other things im sure best changed on the motor...
