Not sure about mass produce, I mena how many sets of TS heads are really out there still. I have seen a few sets over the years but not many.

The way I see it numbers are numbers and the drag strip or pulling track will prove it. At the end if the customer is happy and it performs as promised then the numbers will prove themselves.
Everyone gets hung up on Dyno and flow numbers. I believe the numbers why not. Koffel dynoed my first 561 B1 and I think his numbers were dead on after the ET the car ran.
I find it crazy how low the torque numbers are, but then you look at the CI and just like a Pro Stock engine it's all about the HP.
Let's hear how it went at the pulling track. TS heads make great power in the 620" a friend has and he only winds it to 7800 RPM, remember these are the "Pro Stock" heads of the 90's and nobody knows them better than Koffel's

I'm just adding this for thought, not an argument. A PS motor has a BF of 31, that head in it's day made about what this one says with 50 less inches and a single 4, so put a pair of carbs and a big ram on it, add 50 inches and everyone in Prostock engine bulding will be finished overnight with an older head. Am I wrong? If I am I'm very sorry to doubt this, so if someone can help me wrap my mind around this I'd appreciate it.

well, i was'nt really thinkng so much about ones out there now. My point would be that IFthere were an intake like that they(Koffels) would sell many more sets of TS heads in the future. But who cares...lol

I am looking at it and thinking of how much it looks like the Predator.. Wondering how close it (Predator) is to bolting up?

Another thought: apparently for pretty small displacement still relatively high block is being used, which means that the internals propably have a lot more size and weight than needed. And also a low skirt block is used, famous for its efficient oil control. Makes one wonder how much power it would make as a "pro Stock" level build up. 1400?
(We actually have a very late B1 TS headed Pro Stock engine here, built be Steve Schmidt on a 4.9" bore space (GM) block. The block height is a little over 9", the bore is close to 4.7" and it has been a competitive Pro Stock engine. I don't have the dyno sheets available at the moment, but it made slightly over 1250 hp in a local dyno with a pretty narrow power band .The power was close to the best DRCE II's of its time, but they had broader powerbands).
I really hope that the numbers of this particular engine are valid, it would be a very exceptional piece. And even if it "only" made some 1000-1100 in some other dyno, it still would be.
