You never said if it was a numbers car.
If the car is numbers matching, and you were going for a factory look everywhere else on the car short of maybe the carb then I would keep it green.
Otherwise, I would switch it to black or white and in my view the car would actually probably be worth a little more than it would be with the green. If it isn't a numbers car you won't be getting the purists anyway.
