Good idea but someone put a whole lot of effort into what a double flaring tool will do much easier and they are not that expensive

I agree, but simply doing the first half of an inverted/double flare doesn't get the factory correct look that some people would want which is why I shared it.

As I said, I myself simply use a flaring tool.
