i think 09 was the last year without , I have a 2000 parts truck and my daily is a 98 , I won't ever by anything newer and starting I believe with 2026 all new cars will have a camera pointing at the driver so at that point it's all used cars for me .

I have an '09 and it had DPF but was deleted before I bought it with 100k miles. It now has 443,000 and runs like a new truck. Only replacement parts have been normal wear items like alternator, a/c compressor and water pump. They all lasted until high 300,000's.

I did put a flexplate on it last year after it cracked but it runs so good it's hard to sell it and have a payment at this point!

No DPF on a Dodge/Ram until 2013, I went from a 2015 with a crap DPF system to a 2010 because if did not have DPF. I had a 2007 with the EGR system that was crap, had to regen often. I still may delete the EGR on the 2010 my diesel mechanic recommended it.

The funny thing about science is that if you change one miniscule parameter you change the entire outcome to the way you want it.
