Upon further investigation I have found that male NPT threads are compatible with female NPS threads with a thread sealer or tape. So there is that.

I've been preaching that same thing for years, but few listen. As a buyer of old aluminum intake manifolds, I have found that most factory manifolds and four speed transmission cases have NPS threads with NPT fittings and plugs in then. I pity the fool that retaps using a NPT tap and goes too deep. tsk

So I have decided to go with a Faset 40106 cube fuel pump, made in the USA, good reviews, reasonably priced and a minimum of 36" of dry lift. Sounds like a winner.
