THIS right here is the Moparts I miss, where we actually cared for and watched out for our fellow members instead of constantly getting into pissing matches with them.

So, he lives in a small town. First number I called when trying to get to Police Dept was wrong number.
So, I figured heck maybe the nice lady might know Eric. She did, she even knows the street he lives on. I was able track down his phone number and he answered the phone, sounds really sick, we spoke awhile, he has been under Dr's care.
He says "hasn't croaked" yet and was very gracious to hear the concern of his fellow Moparts members. I concur.

I hope he and his wife recover soon. He's definitely a class act and the forum needs him.

Please don't let the unmoderated section change how you feel about someone. People, including myself, tend to vent and say things they might not really mean. I compartmentalize things and if I could help ANY member I would forget everything from the moderated section.

Agreed, Larry - jcc & I don't share political views, but we conversed like adults in PMs about locating & hearing from Moparx.
At the end of the day, it's the shared interests that bring the vast majority of us here, and that's primary to me.
We should all heed the "better angels of our nature" in our dealings - makes the World a better place, methinks.
Easier to say than to do at times, perhaps, but that should be the reference point, right ?

The biggest problem with unmoderated section is the lack of self control. It shouldn't be an issue with adults but it sure seems to be.

I understand it can be frustrating but shouldn't be taken personally. I think that anyone taking it personally should refrain from coming on here. I have to admit there's been one or two times in which I probably had hurt feelings, for lack of a better term, but always realize late I need to get over it. I've had to apologize to members because I didn't have enough self control. I'd hate to have any member leave over the unmoderated, including you Stumpy. I know you're a Mopar guy and have knowledge to share.

And that is exactly why many have left. Even though I might not be able to contribute or have the knowledge of many of the others I have come close to not returning at times
