Just this week Stellantis cancelled a dealer over those types of actions and more are rumored to be coming. Stellantis is getting the message as to how much those dealer antics are adding to their woes................finally.

TONS of them out there. There is a dealer in NC that has 35 2023 Ram 2500 Crew Cabs. Most of them are 6.4. They are not cutting much of a break on them (at least prior to this)

When I bought my Challenger, it was $7k off sticker because they'd had it for six months and they needed it gone to make room for the '18s coming in every day.
I think that dealer has one '23 Charger left, and it's a B5 Last Call Super Bee (so it's a 5.7, the Plum Crazy ones had the 392). I wonder if it's still marked up?

Back in 2008 I bought my 08 Hemi quad cab / 1500 / 4x4 really cheap it listed for $39,500 I paid less than $25,000 as it was the " old " body style and the 09s were different and they wanted rid of it. Then the dealership closed up less than a year later. I didn't get that kind of deal when I bought my 21 Ram 1500 . Some Ram dealerships here in North Jersey have a lot of trucks in stock some don't . I am constantly getting mail from dealers wanting me to upgrade to a new truck saying " we want to buy your truck " I am sure they would as its a 21 with only 13,000 miles and its not for sale. I considered upgrading to a 2500 , when I bought my 21 1500 ..the 2500s were a little cheaper at the time in the $45,000 range and the 1500s ..$50,000 ( I didn't pay that ) last time I looked the 2500s are now well over $60,000 no thanks ! My 21 is paid for , its been Ziebart rust proofed , has air bags for towing , I bought the extended warranty etc. and tows awesome and is really comfortable .

How can I find a dealer around here in Minnesota who has a bunch of those that they would sell off at a discount? If I could get a good enough price, I might get three or four 2500's for the roofing company and replace some of the old junkers that we've been limping along

Here's one from that dealership. 2022 RAM 1500It's a cadillac dealer. Did a RAM dealer unload them to him ??? It looks like they have Dodge and Ford dealers too but for some reason they've got the sane 2022 big horn trucks on they're Dodge site for $54k??

Don't understand all the logistics, but would suspect there is some shady dealings where they 'sell' the car (harvesting any/all rebates) and then car them over to another one of their dealerships to sell them as 'used'

That is crazy having 2 year old inventory still sitting there. I worked at the local GM dealer here years ago, and they made a big push late summer to around labor day to get anything lingering sold and gone before the new stuff started to show up around mid September (?). When new stuff arrived we had customers stop during the middle of the week literally buying 1500 series pickups still sitting on the transport truck before they were inspected. Wouldn't you at least want to test drive it? If you waited too late in the year for a deal to be had on a still new pickup you'd be hard pressed to find the pickup you wanted.
Only thing that dealer never discounted that I knew of was Corvettes, but they never had more than 2-3 in the showroom at any point. I think they made them 'rare' on purpose by not ordering more so the guys who wanted one had to pay what they were asking. If you wanted one cheaper you were going to have to go for a long drive out of the area to the wherever the nearest dealer was who had them. I did just that, 1999 HT sat on lot for 4 months, first time asking they wanted $47 and wouldn’t budge. Went back first of June, young man came out to talk, after a little small talk I told him I’ll pay $35, he said he’d talk to manager, came back out and said no problem let’s do the paper work. Now I have to find the money lol. Had a good friend whose brother worked at the corvette plant couldn’t get anywhere close to that deal. Right place at the right time I guess.
