I took tumblers out of many locks, any key will work Even screwdriver

70 E-body, but it's same issue on all of them. I see the key blank between ignition and trunk is different. Any way to mod, or swap a different cylinder for the trunk so the same key can be used? Heard it was a patent issue with Toyota that forced them to use 2 keys. At what point did they switch to 1, maybe that year cylinder would work?
Thx I read this thread twice. My is response is WHY? That's the way all mopars I have owned were made. Ignition key Penta star and trunk key round. They were always different. (By the way they both go in upside down)
