Well, the Ram 1500 Sport we bought a little over 2 years ago did an unplanned off road tumble with a drop of roughly 75' from the road Monday afternoon.

My son and his girlfriend were coming down the mountain from going to the snow above Madera, hit a patch of black ice and pine needles.

They're ok, a little sore, minor concussions, small cuts, but they've been checked out and have meds.

The Ram sacrificed itself so that they can live.

Glad they are OK considering your explanation and how the truck looks. Black ice is a real mess to deal with.

The truck did what it was suppose to do, protect the riders.

You will probably remember that truck better then any other truck you have had, or will have in the future.

It might be worth considering to buy back from total, if you have space to keep it and the buy back $$$ isn't too bad.

Wow, that's a nasty crash, down a hill like that. Glad they are ok.

I don't regret the things I've done. I only regret the things I didn't do.

We did a buyback when the Nitro we had was nailed a few years ago, and that worked out. But I don't think that will happen this time as my boy is working on the '94 Cummins in front of our house and my poor 300 is lurking around the corner, so space is limited, and we'll probably get decent $ from the insurance.

I found a completed auction on EBay for a 2015 version of our truck that was within 5k on the odometer that sold for just under $20k last week work
