Assume its an EV. Looks a whole bunch like a Rivian. My long departed Grandfather owned a VERY small town dealership and he sold Internationals. I remember a Scout sitting in his one car showroom. His go to the lake vehicle was a Travelall. One of the old ones. If its an EV, I'm out.

I just hope it plummets in value like a full EV (about 50% in one year) so they'll be able to be picked up lightly used for dirt cheap - then I'd be interested

Should have saved it for the Superbowl Agree.....but just the Commercial itself. The Thirteen-letter Shc*t Spreader needs to be removed and have something else in there. Given Ford's past ties with International/Navistar they missed out big time on the Scout opportunity. They easily could have put square headlights in that dumpy Bronco, call it a "Scout" and doubled their money. I'm kinda sad for them. Some brain at that marketing/product planning department needs to be fired.

Boxy body on frame 4x4's are hot and Dodge wont do it (or bring back a proper cherokee) because they might step on the wranglers toes. Imagine a modern retro RamCharger with a 5.7, 392 and even hellcat version. They would be flying off the lots.

They have the WhoreNut Which would be fine if sold for the money its worth, about $22,999 but they want $39,999 for it. Its a throw away s-box like the dart was. Churn and burn

So with the “range extender” you can just keep stopping for gas and skip the ev bs lost day for it to charge? That’d be a big bonus in a world that is going backwards.
I want my fair share

Correct. I was at a local dealer the other day and the sales manager himself told me that they are $10K too much AND when they sit on the lot, they have tons of problems with them when they go to actually put them in service.

Have to back up a bit and realize the massive step up by Fiat in style, and interior tech/quality that a loaded Dart was compared to the Caliber. Now, take the Hornet and Tonale and compare them to a Caliber or Compass and it's fair to say you are getting twice the vehicle. If the Hornet is over-priced, it's only by about 2 or 3 thousand. It makes sense for a business to test the ceiling right from the start just in case it turns into another blow up like the PT Cruiser. As far as the Ramcharger idea, the Nitro and Jeep Commander have already been tried. A Wrangler platform is better: a Wrangler with smooth fenders and four headlights, call that a "Ramcharger". Geez, I'm clever, I really should be getting paid for my ideas. Well, how about it, Ford and Dodge?
