I got some new underwear. Is it important to wash new underwear before wearing for first time?

Internet says it's a good idea to wash all clothing items before wearing them.

Well, then - that's a question I never thought I'd hear on Moparts !
Helluva set-up line, too.
But yeah, I wash all new clothing before wearing it, especially underwear.

Dang. I didn't get any instructions and already am wearing without washing one pair.

I have heard you are supposed to wash them after wearing them.

If they stand up after taking off, time to launder.
New, flame retardent, pesticides and anti fungals.
Might be good or bad shruggy
With that I wash anything new, and after every wearing.

Um, has it been used underwear up until now getting new?

I always wash everything new before wearing. Long trip and many hands on it being made.

Well not shoes or boots.

Depends ... if the package was opened and the tags removed and they've clearly been re-folded!

I s'pose you could give 'em a sniff first tho' !! Maybe check for pubic hairs.

man! I can not UNread that.... not sure I can answer that... personal preference? common sense? or cents?? when in doubt go commando? banana hammock? single, married? I often use underwear being dirty as a wife deterrent in my shop. and washed clean ones for dinner on the town with the wife.... see I have no good answer for this topic....are they boxer or briefs'? cotton or silk? Batman or Spiderman? what ever you are willing to wear? new = out of the package?. used = washed before wearing? age and dribbles might have something to do with it? I have already thought about it more than I want too..

GOOD ONE LARRY!

Please don't answer those questions. I don't want to know who wears what kind of underwear, how dirty or smelly they get before being washed, what kinds of stains they get, if you wear any at all. That's like seeing something about someone that can't be unseen hop puke runaway
