My 408 stroked 360 has RHS non-magnum heads and OEM valve covers. I want to convert the right side to a factory style push in breather with hose running to nipple on air cleaner. Right now it has a filter style breather w/o hose and it clamps on to the approx 2" extension on valve cover. Will any LA small block valve cover work?

They used those black valve cover breathers for many years as I have seen them on Dodge pickups and vans made well into the 70's. So long as the hole in the valve cover accepts the correct size rubber grommet for the breather any 70's era passenger side valve cover should be ok to use.
