So, it was YOU that jinxed me yesterday! Just kidding.  I was working at my buddies machine shop yesterday, helping get it vacated and closed out after his business being destroyed by Hurricane Helene. I had put some heavy stuff in the dumpster with my tractor bucket and when I backed away from the dumpster I noticed some stuff that was piled up that I could throw in easier by hand. Grabbed some of it up and headed towards the dumpster....tripped on something right at that point in a stride where it's too late to recover. You might know I was walking past the tractor bucket, and as I fell, my right thigh hit the corner of the bucket and today I have a big ol bruise! I'm 67, and old man bruises come easy. After I was done with the cuss fit over busting my ass, I discovered that I had gotten the toe of my boot hung up in a piece of rewire that goes in concrete. I rarely ever fall or trip over stuff.....so it had to be because of Friday the 13th!

I am 66 and decided to take the short cut walking over the trailer tongue instead of the extra 5 seconds around the trailer while I was getting gas at a gas station in another state.. My right foot caught the cable for the lights and I went down hard in my left knee and right knuckles. Ripped the pants at the knee and bruised the kneecap, ripped the skin off the knuckles down to the bone!  I was on the ground for about a minute trying to get up, then had to wrap my fingers with a rag and duct tape. I couldn't walk the next day, and have to keep my fingers straight or the cuts open back up and bleed again, gonna take a while to heal... 
The funny thing about science is that if you change one miniscule parameter you change the entire outcome to the way you want it.

In 2024, there were two: Sept. 13 and Dec. 13. In 2023, there were also two: Friday, Jan. 13 and Friday, Oct. 13.
In 2025, there will be one Friday the 13th, on June 13. In 2026 however, there will be three: Friday Feb. 13, Friday March 13 and Friday, Nov. 13

My wife ended up and is still in the hospital Hope she will be ok and come home soon 🙏 I got terrible news myself on the 13th... but not gonna bring it up on here.
