I just wanted to clarify a couple of things with the installation of one of these belt drives.

There are two copper washers that come in the kit, one os to be installed onto the cam prior to the cam adapter? The second is then put onto the cam adapter followed by the thrust plate and appropriate shims?

Thanks

AL...

Thanks guys, I have to make up some new washers for my own unit, and help fit one to my friend's engine. I do recall being told that alot of the Comp guys that used there would machine the block to replace washers with a torrington roller thrust bearing. Something to look at for me later on.

Many thanks for the replies guys.

How have these washers looked when you had the belt drive apart? How much racing had you done on it when you had it all apart?

Thanks

I emailed Dave Weber and got a PDF file of the install instructions.
You can do that..........sorry , I don't have his email address handy ( edited to add.......someone does. And don't I feel like a dunce.
........ or fire off an email to me at tubtar@msn.com and I will forward the attachment to you.
It is pretty much what has been detailed on here.

Why, for a non-roller application?

I'm with Helmuth Hübener, and no soup is being served today.
