I'm working on a 70 Road Runner that hasn't been driven in years and as you can imagine it is going to need some brake parts. The brake pedal won't move up or down, it has power disc front brakes. I don't know what all I will need. Who is best vendor to get parts from? Thank you.

I guess I should have also asked what is the normal reason for the brake pedal freezing like this? Is that a frozen master cylinder or brake booster? Thanks

Rick just unbolt the master cylinder and see if your pedal is any different. Should take about 5 minutes to see what it isn't.
I would E-mail Doctor Diff for any Mopar related brake parts.

Brake and Equipment Warehouse can rebuild the Master cylinder, calipers and proportion valve if you need it

If the sotf rubber lines are old I've had them act that way. Once you push down on petal the fluid will go though but then lines collapse and fluid doesn't came back so when you go to push down on petal again it's hard as a rock because it's like trying to push fluid through a already full line? I'm sure you're gonna want to go through it all but many times the rubber lines are over lqqked. I'm actually just starting a swap from drums to disc on my 70 charger. Good luck.

If you have to go the reproduction route, use DoctorDiff. I’ve installed several of his setups on customers cars with no trouble. Except for the last car and now my 70 Charger with factory disc brakes. My car sat for for years and I’ve had all kinds of issues. See my thread above, I’m not finished posting some information yet. My first question would be to ask which side the lines exit on? The only reproduction mc available is the one with fender side lines as far as I can find. I can’t find anymore of the engine side exit master like would have come on all wedge motors.

Plan on replacing all the brake hoses. My rear hose would not let fluid pass to the wheel cly.

If the pedal will not move, I bet the MC is frozen. Pull the master off and put a vacuum pump ( I use my HVAC evacuation pump) if you have one. The rod should move out about 2” if it’s still good. Mine leaks a little around the rod seal but I was told by a rebuilder that’s ok. In my discovery with my problems, I’ve run into all sorts of things like wrong parts in the current reproduction mc. Some won’t mate up with an oem booster. There is all kinds of misinformation about how to set the pushrod on the booster. Honestly, you may have to find out if the booster is good and just shoot me a pm with your number and we can talk. There are all kinds of things to look for. I’ve about decided my proportion valve and metering valve may be my problem.

I’ll call the guys above and see about their rebuilding service. At one time I called and getting the proper kits were the big problem.
