Hellcat, TRX, 5.7 HEMI, 6.4 HEMI, Cummins powered trucks..................I don't know if I can agree with you on that. Loss of Imperial, loss of Plymouth, re-badging of Dodge truck, drastic reduction in dealerships.... Then look at the product lines. VERY limited offerings from Chrysler, over dependence on the performance niche market with Dodge, a glut of unsold inventory for Jeep, RAM being the only division that still has life. Yeah, Mopar has developed/used some desirable engine designs but you still have to have a chassis that people will buy to stuff it in. I stand by my comment. Of course you do. You overemphasize what you see as failures while downplaying or outright ignoring substantial successes. The modern Challenger alone is one of Chrysler's most successful automotive products in it's history. Far more so than the original by any measure. And there are so many more recent examples of products that far surpass anything that came before. But you do you: Concentrate on the negatives. Rotfl Guy starts a thread about the outright totally negative outlook for the company, then chastises a guy for “focusing on the negative.” Lmao. He wouldn’t have pointed out the truth had you not gone and started this thing. lol lol lol. I bash them in their current state too - they had a golden goose and killed it - AGAIN. At the very least - they had a charger 4dr that sold like crazy and a challenger 2dr that sold like crazy - rather than keep that going they decided to make them both the charger, 2dr and 4dr that share the same roofline which will look the exact same on the street. That was 100% a cost cut measure to their cash cow and will cut those combined 200,000 annual sales in likely less than half, heck in EV form it wont even be a fraction. And thats just one of their terrible decisions. The entire point of these euro mergers is that the US side gets to gain the benefits (carbon credits from the euro small cars etc) so the US side can keep making V8's, trucks, muscle and Jeeps. Nope - they come in and slit its throat

A lot of the damage done to Chrysler this time is courtesy of the EPA.

It's a shame that you miss the point. Stellantis stock is tanking TODAY due to lack of CURRENT viable product offerings. 'Bee attacks EVERYTHING from Mopar for the last 40 years during which they have introduced some of the most popular and successful products in the company's history. I just pointed out the fallacy in his opinion. If you also feel that the minivans, Challengers, Hellcats, Ram trucks, Chargers and 300s of late are failures, then you 2 are made for each other.

Oh puleeeez. Attacks everything for the last 40 years? Wow, take some comprehension classes. Read what I said "And the path for the last 40 years has been nothing but downward." That is not an attack on everything, just a statement of fact. Chrysler has been like a third rate rock group over the last 40 years, a hit now and then but the rest of the portfolio being less than stellar.

Comprehension is not MY problem.
While they are clearly circling the drain TODAY, it is primarily because they have dropped the very vehicles that by ANY measure have the last few decades or so proven to be the most successful products to have ever came from Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram.
BY ANY MEASURE. Ever.
Why don't you show us how you came to your errant opinion that "the path for the last 40 years has been nothing but downward." ?

Why don't you show us how you came to your errant opinion that "the path for the last 40 years has been nothing but downward." ? I already have. Again there's that comprehension skill that you seem to be struggling with. Accordingly I am not going to play your game. As to my opinion, I feel it is valid and anything but errant. It is obvious that you will never learn that your opinion is NOT the only one in the room and it is NOT always accurate. End of story. Now go amuse yourself with something else.

All you have are your opinions and nothing else. On the other hand everything I said is factual. But of course since they don't agree with the great Master, they are opinions? Yeah, thanks for playing and ignoring reality. It's your strong suit.

Look, you got boatraced here in your own thread. You don’t have to finish what you don’t start was a members sig on here for years. Directly applies to what you’ve done. You can only continue to make it worse for yourself. Quit while you are behind and be done with it. You can’t start a negative thread, then get upset when people are negative, and not get lampooned. Just not the way life works.
