No doubt a cool sign and I honestly don't know what one like that is worth. That said, I hope he likes it as he may own it for some time to come.

I would verify that sign with some experts. The top lettering is different than the bottom.

Chrysler font is block letters with square edges.

Plymouth font has round edges.

I don't know if this is correct, but it is a little weird... There are so many reproductions out there now , you must be careful with all size signs.

I'm no expert, but I just looked at a bunch of examples available on the internet. There are many with both squared off "Plymouth" lettering and rounded "Plymouth" lettering.
Both might be correct.

Back side pics usually tell the whole story if single sided.
