UPDATE

Still chipping away. Watched a lot of video of the last outing and determined the rear is separating too fast when the power comes in. Went and ran a true street class Friday, 275, tags and insurance ect. Front rd one it kept getting better as far as wheelies, I kept tightening rear extension, never touched the boost controller or changed the tuneup. Went a best of 1.23 but averaged around 1.25 60’. I think it’ll take a bunch more with the new shock adjustment, didn’t want to get too greedy with how consistent it was. Best et and mph was 5.16 139

That MPH in the 1/8 mile for that ET is really impressive: bow
How much boost does it make with which blower or supercharger type and size are you using and if you don't mind what RPM does it leave the starting line at and what shift RPM and finish line RPM does it cross at:
The reason I'm asking these questions is that I'm the middle of buying parts for a crank driven Vortech super charger for my new drag car, BB on E85 with B1-MC heads in a 1965 Dart back half car for the local northwest no prep series races next year luck

It lifts the front tires when it runs out of extension in the rear.... If you can slow down the rear extension, or get some more travel out of the rear, it will help you keep the nose down

Car is super awesome and the more guys running Gen3 hemis, the more support we should be able to get from aftermarket industry

It is, I put some preload in the left side and it helped. But it could use some more.

4200 and 8-12lb on the leave. Shifting at 7800. Centrifugal blower is probably going to differ some as far as boost launch since boost is rpm, timing control will be your friend

Agreed. A lot farther than I thought an oem block and some stock heads with aftermarket springs in them would go. I’d really like holley to come out with a low ram intake so I can use a shearer intercooler lid and not have a bunch of stuff sticking out the hood.

Are those the engines/ heads that come in the production newer car/trucks ?

Well chipping away but still struggling with climbing the ring gear. Got rid of the steel rear bumper. Total weight with brackets was 70lb, used a 68-73 glass nova rear bumper, don’t tell anyone. Made this pass and then it rained unfortunately. Pedaled twice to keep the wheelie down but still managed a PB 60’ 330 and 1/8. Would have been a 5.0x if it would’ve stayed down. We will get it there. Also needs a touch more preload in the left caltrac bar

I can take some more in better lighting; the first pic is it just mocked up. Had to do some trimming on it, and it could be better but it’s not a show car. I’m going to vinyl wrap them silver this winter most likely.

I'm getting ready to narrow mine. I tried a 70-72 Duster front bumper on the rear. It's close but the 1/4 panel dimensions up/down are about 1 1/2" taller than the bumper. The Nova bumper looks like a decent fit.
