Don't look now but our local dealers have new 23,24,25's. Says they're taking 10K off the 23's sticker. Lol

Whats the story on them? Just no good, unpopular? Too costly?

I need to buy something new ONLY due to my wife and her med. condition and its getting just too hard to get her into a sedan. So I thought of maybe a hornet but am open to anything. Keep in mind this is not something I would do for myself as its about the wife being comfortable and happy in her senior years. (she dont drive shes a rider). So any comments I might get about a new POS means little in this situation. Never would I buy one for myself.

My wife bought a Chevy city van for her small business because it was a lot easier for her to get in and out as well as load it with her sewing things she made to sell at our local crafter's fairs and other things like that.
I drive it now as it only has 19,000 miles on it and get gets 27.+ MPG in town.
It was made by Nissan in Mexico and is identical to those Nissan mini vans except the emblems and decals.

In my area, Ford dealers were bending folks over when the new Broncos came out - probably the same everywhere - so it's amusing some are still stuck with 'em.
As for ingress/egress, minivans & SUVs are probably easiest.

They were probably banking on the popularity of the original Broncos that are nowadays bring insane prices. Some revivals like the Camaro, Mustang and Challenger have worked, others not.

Based on things I've read recently about the new Broncos, I would not buy one. Based on things I KNOW about Ford vehicles, I would never buy another one again!

Personally, I love the way the full-sized version looks, but they are not supposed to be very nice interior-wise - I have read this from several articles. Plus, there are some real problems cropping-up with these - including bad engine valves.

If I was going to buy an SUV type vehicle right now, I'd be looking at low mileage 2-3 year-old CERTIFIED used Grand Cherokee Limited with the 3.6L & max of 25,000 miles. There's a bunch of them around here. I bought my wife a 21,000-mile 2018 certified one in summer of 2021 for $30k. It has been flawless, & now has a little over 91,000 miles on it. It looked like new when we bought it & still looks great. I keep it clean & we all love it. If I had to get something besides a Jeep, I'd be looking at Durangos, but they are less plentiful & cost a few thousand more than the Grand Cherokees, plus not many Durangos have leather & we wanted leather. Good luck with your decision & hope your wife likes what you get!

They are all over around here now. Just saw another new one across the street tonight. I sat in one because the wife expressed interest in it since her car is getting long in the tooth and the morons in charge refuse to plow the streets around her work. I found the interior to be very basic and I found no way to upgrade it on the build site. I haven’t heard about poor reliability. The ten speeds are getting better since the cdf drum was upgraded a couple years ago.

Thanks for the input cab on the city van. I will look into them. Looks like I could dual purpose as a small parts hauler whistling
